We are delighted to announce that, in line with the revised government guidelines, are now re-opening today, June 29th,  2020, and look forward to welcoming you back to Hotel Curracloe.  We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and overwhelming support during the past number of months.  
 

Caring for  the health and safety of our wonderful guests and fantastic team here at Hotel Curracloe has always been number one priority. 

We at Hotel Curracloe are committed to the health and safety of our valued guests, fantastic team and army of local suppliers.  While we have consistently maintained extremely high standards of hygiene, we have now implemented additional measures in response to Covid-19, adding an additional level of security for all.   These measures are in place to mitigate any potential risks and follow the recommended guidelines from the public health authorities and are under continuing review.

 

Please see below for a summary of some of the steps we have taken for your Reassurance:

 

  • We have provided alcohol-based hand sanitiser in all departments/areas of the Hotel.

  • Social distance markers have been put in place throughout the property to help control check-in queues and general crowding.

  • We have informative posters, and placards regarding Covid-19 in all public areas, throughout the Hotel. 

  • We provide clean and disinfected keys cards upon check-in.

  • All common touch points including door handles, stair banisters, chairs and elevator buttons are being cleaned, sprayed and disinfected multiple times each day with bleach and other heavy duty cleaning agents.

  • We have taken steps to Improve air circulation processes to increase air quality.

  • Our accommodation staff are doing a deep clean and full sanitisation of all guest rooms with extra time being assigned per room to allow for common touch areas to be disinfected, including phones, remote controls, door handles and switches.

  • We wash all linens at a high temperature for optimal disinfection.  Further antibacterial detergents are now also in use.

  • We have spaced tables apart in our restaurant and bar to provide adequate physical distancing.  We have also made over flow areas available should any instance occur where too many people have arrived at once.  

  • We serve all food and beverages respecting strict food safety procedures.

  • Our team members have been briefed on all aspects of the Covid-19 emergency and know what steps to take should you start feeling unwell while visiting the Hotel.

  • We administer temperature checks for team members throughout the day.

  • We have provided team members with personal protective equipment where needed.

  • We have added extra bins throughout the property for the safe disposal of PPE, tissues, napkins etc

  • We are continuously sanitising all office and workspaces including credit card machines.

  • Guest-rooms have been deep cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival.

 

We ask that all guests and customers familiarise themselves with the below guidelines prior to your arrival: 

 

  • Please refrain from touching surfaces away from your seating area.  

  • Children may not wander. Please keep your party in your assigned seating area at all times.  

  • If queuing, please remain 2 meters away from the person at either side of you. Max 2-people in a queue at any one time. 

  • Only 2-people at a time are permitted in the toilet areas. 

  • Familiarise yourself with the signs and symptoms of Covid-19

  • Use contactless payment whenever possible.

  • All food & drink will be brought to your table. Please do not queue at the bar.

  • Please be patient & kind with all staff & fellow customers.  This is a new & unfounded situation for us all. If you spot a problem or are concerned about anything please ask to speak to a manager before posting online.  We are here to help. 

  • Please use good hygiene practises.  Use hand sanitiser stations where possible and wash your hand regularly. 

  • Follow all HSE, WHO and Public Health Guidelines 

  • Continue to practise good sneeze and cough etiquette. 

  • The Hotel elevator is for guests staying in the hotel only.  It is limited to one party of guests at a time.  Please use PPE in the lift.

  • Seating in the lobby area is for Hotel Guests only.  Please sit only with your party and remember to practise social distancing guidelines.  ​

  • If you or anyone in your party begin to show Covid-19 Symptoms during your stay, please remain in your room, or at your designated seating area & contact a staff member immediately. 

  • You will be required to give your name, telephone number and address for contact tracing purposes.  This information will be safely stored for one month only.
